Oneppo Chamber Music Series

The Chien-Kim-Watkins Trio performs Messiaen’s Quartet for the End of Time, a transcendent masterpiece composed during his time as a prisoner of war during World War II. Tragic in origin yet radiant in spirit, the work serves as a meditation on faith and hope in the face of unimaginable hardship. The ensemble is joined by clarinet faculty member David Shifrin.
